Why Am I So Easily Tempted?| Pastor Karen Reyes| Crossroads

Why is temptation so hard to resist even when we love God and know better?
Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” Not because they didn’t have faith, but because following Jesus doesn’t make us immune to temptation.
In the final message of our When You Pray series, we look at Peter’s confidence before denying Jesus, Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, and what Scripture teaches us about spiritual warfare.
We’ll discover that temptation doesn’t always begin with wanting something bad. Sometimes it takes something good and convinces us that we don’t need to trust God to get it.
